starting point are analog controllers, as developed by mark tilden . the analog controller is a network of electrical neurons. already with four neurons connected in a ring, a walking robot can be driven.

we are fascinated by the relation between the simplicity, concerning the needed materials and the complexity of the resulting behaviors. a robot learns to run with the help of four resistors, four capacities and four inverters.

we use these neuro-networks to experiment with different sensors and their integration into the circuit.
as sensors we use touch-, light-, and soundsensors.
