we want to perform experiments with the robots.
first we are interested in the effect of a multitude of robots on man. how will they be perceived? as individual robots or rather as a mass? as a multitude are they cute or terrifying? which associations do they provoke?
to find out we want to place the robots in public space and docoment the reactions. this should happen in different context. unprepared confrontation, for example in the local shopping street or with announcement in an exhibition room.
besides these public space performances, we want to experiment with different sensors on different robots, to find if there will be changes in appearance an perception.
finally we work on a communication system, that should with a low-level implementation reaveal complex group behaviour. for that issue we are already hardly working on sound generation and recognition (muuuuhh).
