9 kids build 9 robots in three days.
motivation for this workshop is, to offer the kids a playful approach to technology. it should raise curiosity and interest in the related fields to robotics as mechanical and electrical engineering, computer science and biology.
the physical properties of capacities and resistors emerge directly in the different behaviours of the robots.
no prefabricated units are used, which gives authenticity. we want to teach, that one can build robots not only in a workshop, but as well by yourself at home. all used parts are easy to get in any electric-parts store.
the workshop offers technology to touch, it is work with those parts, kids will find opening the stereo system of their parents. (we encourage them to do so)
